Spooktacular Halloween Fun at Have A Heart’s October Respite Care!
Get ready for a day full of treats, tricks, and thrills! On Saturday, October 26, 2024, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Have A Heart is hosting a Halloween-themed Adult Respite Care event. This day of festive fun is designed for adults with physical and developmental disabilities, offering a safe, supportive, and exciting environment to celebrate the spooky season.
What to Expect:
Costume Parade: Participants can show off their Halloween costumes in a fun and friendly parade. Whether you’re a ghost, a superhero, or a pumpkin, all costumes are welcome, and everyone will get a chance to shine.
Pumpkin Decorating: Attendees will unleash their creativity by decorating pumpkins with paint, stickers, and more. These festive masterpieces can be taken home as keepsakes.
Spooky Games: We’ll play Halloween-themed games, including ghost bowling, monster bean bag toss, and a scavenger hunt for hidden treats. These activities are designed to be fun and inclusive for all participants.
Creepy Crafts: Participants can get crafty by making Halloween decorations and spooky artwork. From paper bats to glow-in-the-dark crafts, the art station will be buzzing with creativity.
Trick-or-Treating Fun: A mini indoor trick-or-treat experience will allow everyone to collect some goodies while practicing social skills in a fun, safe setting.
Monster Mash Dance Party: Get ready to dance! We’ll have a Monster Mash dance party where everyone can groove to Halloween favorites like “Thriller” and “Ghostbusters.”
