On Saturday, September 7, 2024 from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Have A Heart is hosting an exciting Science Fun Saturday as part of our Adult Respite Care program! This special day is designed for adults with physical and developmental disabilities and will be filled with hands-on science activities that spark curiosity and creativity.
What to Expect:
Simple Science Experiments: Participants will dive into the world of science with fun, simple experiments.
Nature Exploration: Let’s learn about the world around us.
Science Crafts: Science meets art as we create crafts inspired by science!
Fun with Food Science: Participants can learn about the science of cooking while making delicious treats.
Why Have A Heart?
Since 2008, Have A Heart has been dedicated to supporting adults with disabilities. Our day center, nestled on 5 acres surrounded by family farms, features an adaptive gym and a beautiful barn used for fundraising events. We strive to create a safe, enriching environment that promotes independence, creativity, and socialization.
Our daycare program offers personalized care plans that encourage socialization and relationship-building through group activities like arts and crafts, games, sports, cooking, gardening, music, and more.
