Summer Days at Have A Heart, A Season in Review

This summer, Have A Heart clients had an amazing time with a variety of fun activities and exciting adventures! Our summer was packed with field trips, games, art, and more, making it a season to remember.

We kicked off the summer with walks in local parks, where clients enjoyed the fresh air and beautiful scenery. We also went on a thrilling safari outing, where everyone had a chance to see and learn about different animals. Another highlight was our trip to a farm, where clients got to meet friendly farm animals and even help with some farm chores.

Sports were a big part of our summer, too! We played different games, including adaptive sports, that everyone could join in. Bowling was another favorite activity, with lots of cheers and strikes!

Twice a month, we held themed respite care days that were a hit with everyone. These special Saturdays included themes like camping, science fun, and summer celebrations, filled with crafts, games, and food.

One of the most exciting trips was to a professional baseball game. Our clients loved watching the action on the field, cheering for their team, and enjoying ballpark snacks.

We also had art days, where clients expressed their creativity through painting, drawing, and making crafts. We ended the summer with some fun parties, celebrating the friendships and memories made.

This summer was full of joy, laughter, and new experiences. We can’t wait for more adventures with our Have A Heart family!
